Off of the success of Black Mirror and American Horror Story, Amazon is hoping to entice fans of all things creepy with their upcoming anthology series Lore. The series will be based on the podcast of the same name, and chronicle true supernatural stories throughout history, through a combination "of narration, historical mixed media and cinematically shot scripted scenes featuring top talent."

And now, the series has a fan-favorite actress on board for the ride.

Deadline is reporting that Teen Wolf alum Holland Roden is set to appear in the series in a lead role. Roden is familiar with portraying the supernatural, as she is best known for playing high school student/banshee Lydia Martin on the popular MTV series, which is set to end later this year.

Roden is set to play Bridget Cleary, wife of Michael Cleary (former UFC fighter Cathal Pendred). Their storyline is described as follows:

"Living in Ireland in 1895, with fiery red hair, [Bridget] is a dressmaker and an egg dealer who lives with her husband Michael in an Irish laborer's cottage. An exceptional woman, she's been liberated by the invention of the sewing machine and the refrigerated railway car, and she's making a lot more money than her husband. When her tongue gets a little too pert for Michael's liking, Bridget must prove the impossible: that she's the true Bridget Cleary and not a fairy's changeling."

Other actors currently set to appear in the series include The Walking Dead alum Steve Coulter, Scorpion's Robert Patrick, and The Hunger Games' Sandra Lafferty.

The series is produced by The Walking Dead's Gale Ann Hurd, as well as Ben Silverman and Howard T. Owens.
