While people have been making Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok out to be very secretive projects, The Wolverine 3 has quietly wrapped filming with very little information escaping the set. To this point, we don't even know the official name of the movie.

Thankfully, this spell of silence will be coming to a close.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman was asked about the franchise's third installment. After confirming that the film had already moved to the editing room, Jackman offered a little insight as to when we will be seeing something regarding the project.

"There's gonna be some stuff coming out in the next week or so. That's all I'll say."

Yes, you heard that correctly.

There will be something released regarding The Wolverine 3, over the course of the next week. And that's coming straight from the muskrat's mouth.

Whether this means we will see any footage or not, remains to be seen. Shooting is finished, but it could still be a number of weeks before anything is reday for an audience. This hint could be at an official poster, some images, or even more information regarding the plot or characters of the film.

This is big news, there's no doubt, but it wasn't everything Jackman had to say regarding the film. When asked what else he could share, he let us know that this Wolverine will be a little different than the others.

"Basically, it's going to be very different. Very different in tone, hopefully different to anything weve done."

Since many of the X-Men films to this point have been a little on the lighter side, we're hoping this means we will get a grittier version of Logan's story. The movie is said to be following the Old Man Logan storyline, so a darker tone seems plausible.

The Wolverine 3 will be Hugh Jackman's last appearance as the titular character, and it is expected to hit theaters on March 3, 2017.
