Marvel Studios gave fans a pretty big update on Thor: Ragnarok this summer at San Diego Comic Con. The company revealed the Hulk's gladiator armor, confirming suspicions that the film would feature a Planet Hulk storyline. Since then, a few possible spoilers have trickled out online, but now one site is reporting several big details about Ragnarok's biggest characters.

So, naturally, possible spoilers below!

According to Schmoes Know, it looks like Ragnarok is going to feature some pretty epic gladiator battles. Fans likely assumed this from the Hulk's teaser earlier this summer, but the site is saying the green giant will be joined by Thor for this bloody battles.

Allegedly, Thor and Hulk will team together to battle their way out of the arena. The gladiator matches, which are run by The Grandmaster, will be enforced by a rough character known as Skurge. During these battles, Thor reportedly runs into Valkyrie, a beautiful warrior and fellow contestant. The two will apparently then work with the Hulk to escape their gladiator arena and hopefully prevent the foretold doom associated with Ragnarok.

If you're wondering how this all goes down, then you're guesses are as good as anybody's. The site stresses they're unsure how the whole situation unfolds or was even brought about.

Of course, comic book readers will see some connections between these alleged details and the Planet Hulk arc. The storyline, which debuted in 2006, begins with the Hulk being enslaved upon a planet named Sakaar. The hero had originally been searching space for a new planet to settle on when he was captured; The last time fans saw Hulk on the big screen, he had hijacked a SHIELD aircraft and left The Avengers, so the Marvel Cinematic Universe has already built up a reason for Hulk's appearance.

While situated on Sakaar, Hulk is forced to fight in gladiator battles for an emperor named Red King and faces against contestants like Korg and Hiroim.

Recently, director Taika Waititi teased fans that Korg would be seen in Ragnarok through a quirky Instagram post. The character, who briefly cameoed in Thor: The Dark World, might follow after his comic book counterpart and showdown with the Hulk.
