Nintendo's puffball hero Kirby is currently celebrating his 25th anniversary in the video game world, and the publisher found an ideal way to celebrate themselves – by teaming up with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra to put on a special anniversary concert!

The show, which was conducted by Taizou Takemoto and features 13 different songs from the series' history, took place earlier this weekend. But for those that weren't able to attend, there's a way to watch it online now.

The NicoNico site is currently hosting a stream of the concert in its entirety, though you'll need to pay $22 to watch it in full. Still, there's a lot of show involved here, with a set that includes the following songs from Kirby's history:

Kirby Grand Opening (Green Greens)
Kirby's Adventure Medley
King Dedede and Meta Knight "Tag Medley"
Kirby's Dream Land 2 Friend Medley
Kirby's Dream Land 3 and 64 Medley
Kirby Super Star Medley
Kirby Air Ride Medley
Kirby and the Amazing Mirror & Squeak Squad Medley
Kirby Turned into a Ball Medley (Pinball Land, Dream Course, Canvas Curse and Rainbow Curse)
Kirby Triple Deluxe Medley
Kirby Planet Robobot Medley
Kirby's Return to Dream Land Medley
Dream Land Staff Roll/Super Star Staff Roll

A couple of things you might want to make note of. First of all, the site is in Japanese, so you might need to do some translating just to make sure you're ordering the right concert. Secondly, the stream will only be online through August 20th, and you only have until August 13th to purchase your digital ticket to check it out. It's a bit on the strict side, but worth it when it comes to checking out the concert.

Good luck, and enjoy the show!

Meanwhile, Kirby will make his return in 2018 with a new untitled game for the Nintendo Switch, which was announced last month during the Electronic Entertainment Expo. The game looks to be similar in nature to some of his older adventures, so fans should feel right at home when it comes to playing it. We'll see how it fares with some potential gameplay footage, which is sure to debut later this year.
