Marvel's Runaways Ordered To Series At Hulu
Hulu has officially ordered Marvel's Runaways to series.
Marvel's Runaways is based on the Marvel Comics series created by Brian K Vaughan and Adrian Alphona. The series follows a motley crew of teenagers who are forced to come together when they discover that their parents are all part of a secret society of super villains called The Pride.
The series pickup was officially announced today at Hulu's up front panel. The announcement was accompanied by the first footage from the Marvel's Runaways pilot.
Marvel's Runaways is created by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage for Hulu. Schwartz and Savage will serve as showrunners. The series is produced by ABC Signature Studios, Marvel Television, and Fake Empire Productions.

As members of the Pride, Runaways also stars Ryan Sands as Geoffrey Wilder, Angel Parker as Catherine Wilder, Brittany Ishibashi as Tina Minoru, James Yaegashi as Robert Minoru, Kevin Weisman as Dale Yorkes, Brigid Brannagh as Stacey Yorkes, Annie Wersching as Leslie Dean, Kip Pardue as Frank Dean, James Marsters as Victor Stein, and Ever Carradine as Janet Stein.

Production on the pilot for Marvel's
Vaughan and Alphona departed in 2007. A series of other creative teams took over Runaways for a time, including Avengers director Joss Whedon.
Nico’s mother, Tina Minoru, appeared in the Doctor Strange movie prequel comic, already providing the series with a tie to the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe.
