Most everyday Pokemon Go players should now be able to participate in Raid Battles. The popular gaming app announced that it had dropped the level requirement for raids to Level 25, the third such drop on Friday alone.

Pokemon Go has been rolling out raids for the last two days, gradually lowering the minimum level requirement every few hours. While only Level 35 players could initially access the raids last night, Pokemon Go dropped the level requirement to Level 31 and Level 28 at different intervals today.

For those who have been living under a rock for the last few days, Raid Battles are a new feature to Pokemon Go. Raid Bosses temporarily take over a gym during a raid, which forces players from all three teams to work together to take it down. Players who defeat a Raid Boss get special items and a chance to capture a de-powered version of the Raid Boss Pokemon.

The raids are just one of several new features to Pokemon Go. The game also recently overhauled its gym system to make it more appealing to casual players. It's also instituted several anti-cheat measures to stamp out players who use GPS spoofing and automated bot programs to gain an advantage over legitimate players.
