It has more than five years since Bleach came to an end. The supernatural anime captivated global audiences as heroes like Ichigo Kurosaki discovered their inherent gifts with otherworldly powers. Unknowingly thrust into the world of Soul Reapers, Ichigo finds himself involved in a cross-dimensional coup which threatens to destroy both Earth and the Soul Society. But, with the help of comrades, Ichigo slowly comes to see his predestined role in the epic battle.

Oh! And he gets a nifty sword called as zanpakto; That helps as well.

With Bleach securely in limbo, fans of the long-running anime continue to hope it will be revived. However, if there are not enough resources to pull out a full-blown anime, then fans would simply suffice for a spin-off or two. Here at ComicBook, we are listing five possible Bleach spin-offs which fans would love for Studio Pierrot to get underway.

  • The Origins Of The Gotei 13

While fans of Bleach may know a lot about the members of the Gotei 13, there is little information out there regarding its inception. The governing body of the Soul Society plays a massive role in the Bleach franchise, and and Ichigo butts heads with its Head Captain on the regular. Led by Yamamoto, the Gotei 13 was created by a band of brutal fighters and outright killers who wouldn't hesitate to slay their own brothers. However, when fans meet the Gotei 13, the organization has chilled out somewhat.

Naturally, you can see why fans would want to know more about the shadowy group.

  • Isshin Kurosaki's Early Shinigami Years

There are few people in the Bleach universe who are as campy as Isshin Kurosaki. The fatherly figure heads up his household with gags and playful tears to the vexations of his son Ichigo. However, before Isshin became a father, the character was wholly different. Bleach fans will know that Isshin is actually a Shinigami who used to be the captain of Squad 10. However, the man was brought to Earth permanently after he sacrificed his spiritual gifts to save his would-be wife Masaki. And, to this fans, fans are still begging to see this entire story arc animated.

  • Return Of The Arrancars

If fans can overlook some canon deaths for a bit, then they would no doubt want to see a spin-off starring Aizen's Arrancar elites. The powerful warriors were the titular villains of the Hueco Mundo arc way back when, but characters like Grimmjow and Nelliel had too much personality for just one arc. Should the powers at be grant it, an anime exploring the birth of the original Espada or their recovery after the Hueco Mundo arc would not be unwanted.

  • Soul Reapers v Quincy

Bleach isn't afraid to get violent, so there is hope yet that the epic war between Soul Reapers and Quincy may one day be animated. After the Soul Society was formed, the Shinigami first realized another race was out there fighting Hollows. The Quincy were then outed as the spiritually gifted mediums continued to wipe out the corrupted souls despite warnings from the Shinigami. As such, the Soul Society ultimately waged war against the Quincy race and all but eradicated it. Talk about brutal.

  • Shunsui & Rangiku's Bar Brawls

If gag stories are more your style, then there are plenty of Bleach characters ready to deliver a punchline. The anime contains far-out characters like Shunsui whose captaincy is constantly undermined by his laissez-faire style. And, as always, Vice Captain Rangiku gets her kicks by hitting on unassuming men while being totally plastered. The top-tier fighters have a fondness for alcohol, and the Soul Society knows it. A short omake spin-off series depicting the pair's various bar excursions and subsequent brawls would be well-worth watching.
