Growing up in a rock ‘n’ roll band and a musician himself, Nate Todd has spent the last decade as a music journalist. But movies are another passion. Nate graduated with a B.A. in English and a minor in cinema studies from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2013.
Nate’s fascination with film, as with most movie lovers, goes back much further than his academic training in the field. A child of the 80s and 90s, some of Nate’s favorite franchises growing up were Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future and Lord of the Rings to name a few.
In the music journalism sphere, Nate has written for Listen Here Denver, AXS and is currently an Associate Editor at JamBase. As a freelance writer, Todd has created fictional works in the suspense-thriller and sci-fi genres.
Nate has been able to combine his passions, music and film, in his career as a recording artist and touring musician. Todd considers himself very fortunate that he is able to make a living doing what he loves.
