Death Of Wolverine #1 Mortal Variant Cover Revealed

Marvel Comics has unveiled Ed McGuinness' "Mortal Variant" for Death of Wolverine #1. The cover shows Wolverine lying over his own claw-marked grave. The cover is available to retailers through the Exchangeability program.

Death of Wolverine is written by Charles Soule and drawn by Steve McNiven. The series has Wolverine, minus his healing factor, going up against a string of his deadliest enemies until he finally expires.

As with most storylines chronicling the death of an iconic superhero, Death of Wolverine will surely catch the eye of major media outlets as its release draws nearer.

Death of Wolverine #1 hits shelves in September.
