The Hulk is unique in the Marvel Universe, in that he’s considered a superhero, but most of his most well-known fights are against heroes. The Hulk just wants to be left alone, and has since the beginning, but the US military wouldn’t let him be. This has brought the heroes into the battle against the Hulk, and since then Hulk has fought pretty much every major hero on the planet. Spider-Man? Hulk’s taken him. Wolverine? Hulk’s put him down. Thor? Hulk has been able to defeat Thor (although Thor does have some wins against the Hulk as well). In fact, the Hulk can thrash the entire roster of the Avengers, and not just the weak rosters; even the super powerful ones are no match for the astounding power of the Hulk. There’s a reason that the Hulk is called the strongest one there is.

Marvel and DC Comics are finally starting to crossover again. While the Hulk hasn’t yet been announced for his own crossover, he was in one of the first, and has lost to two different DC heroes โ Batman and Superman. The Hulk has battled every major Marvel hero and it’s about time that he battled the greatest heroes of DC. While there are some who would beat him, the Hulk would smash these seven DC heroes.
7) Donna Troy

Donna Troy is one of DC’s most confusing characters, and in a universe that has the Hawks, that’s saying something. Donna Troy’s origin has changed many times, but all you need to know is this โ Donna Troy was adopted by Queen Hipployta, given a portion of Wonder Woman’s powers, and sent to Man’s World to help her sister battle evil. Donna Troy is one of the best fighters of her generation, and has helped out in battle against some of the most dangerous villains out there. Donna has been fighting evil for a very long time and is a very smart fighter. However, her power level just isn’t enough to stand with the Hulk. Her flight would allow her to stay out of Hulk’s way for a while, but her strength isn’t enough to actually hurt the Hulk. There’s a chance she could use her lasso to choke the Hulk out, but even that probably wouldn’t work, as the Hulk isn’t just going to stand still and take that kind of treatment. Donna is tough as nails (and I love her; go back pick up Titans Annunal 2025 #1, you’ll be happy you did and you’ll fall in love with her too), but the Hulk is just too much for her.
6) Cyborg

Cyborg has gotten a big power upgrade over the years. At first, he was in a terrible accident and given cybernetic body parts by his father. This was changed to him being injured in an invasion by Darkseid and bonding with a Mother Box. Cyborg is a tank; he’s super strong and durable, and can shape his limbs into any weapon he needs. He can also take control of technology and manifest Boom Tubes, allowing him to teleport himself and others anywhere they need to go. Cyborg is an experienced, tough fighter who has been able to surprise his foes in battle many times. However, as good a fighter as Cyborg is and as powerful he’s become, he doesn’t have a chance against the Hulk. Cyborg gets ripped apart by his foes all the time; Hulk would have no problem doing that to him. Cyborg doesn’t have the power level to hurt the Hulk quickly enough to take him down. I don’t think this would be a quick fight for the Hulk; Cyborg is one of the most formidable Teen Titans and a former member of the Justice League. However, Hulk’s power is just too much for Cyborg. This would go like every fight that Hulk has had against Iron Man; fun to read, but impossible for Cyborg to win.
5) Superboy

I personally don’t think that the Hulk can beat Superman, unlike the vast majority of Hulk fans out there. In fact, most Kryptonians would be able to beat the Hulk in a fight, because of their power level and the variety of abilities that they have. However, Superboy is only a half-Kryptonian and that’s going to cost him the battle with the Hulk. Superboy’s power were originally based on tactile telekinesis (his body was covered by a telekinetic energy field that protected him, allowed him to fly, and mimic super strength), but over the years, this has changed and he’s developed powers like Superman. However, Superboy isn’t on the same power level as Superman, and he’s way more impetuous. This is going to be a huge problem for Superboy. Superboy is still stronger than base level Hulk, but he’s the kind of fighter with an ego that makes a lot of mistakes. He’s not going to try to take out Hulk quickly, and by the time he realizes how much danger he’s in, the Hulk is going to be a lot more powerful than he was. Superboy is going to make the Hulk very angry, both with his attacks and his jokes, and that’s going to allow the Hulk to reach a level of power that is going to hurt Superboy. Maybe one day, Superboy will be able to beat the Hulk, but for now, the Hulk has the advantages he needs to beat Superboy.
4) Jay Garrick

Jay Garrick was the first Flash. He gained his connection to the Speed Force during an experiment with hard water, and decided to become a superhero with his speed powers. Jay helped found the Justice Society of America, and battled against Nazi saboteurs on the homefront and supervillains. Jay retired with the rest of the Justice Society thanks to the actions of the House Un-American Activities Committee. His connection to the Speed Force kept him and his wife Joan relatively young, and when the next age of superheroes dawned, Barry Allen took inspiration from the original Flash. Eventually, the two worked together, the Justice Society reformed, and Jay would become the grandfather of the Flash family. Now, Flashes are extremely powerful, but Jay is probably the weakest of the Flashes. He can’t run as fast as Barry, Wally West, or Bart Allen, and that’s going to cost him against the Hulk. Jay will get some hits in and do some damage to the Hulk, but he can’t hit the kind of speeds that would allow him to use the physics tricks that other Flashes could use to beat the Hulk. It wouldn’t be a fast fight, and Jay Garrick would give it his all, but the Hulk would be able to take down the original Flash.
3) Aquaman

Aquaman would actually put up a much better fight against the Hulk than most people think. Aquaman’s ability to communicate with sea life isn’t exactly helpful in battle on the land, but that’s not all Aquaman has going for him. Aquaman is also very strong, able to tow massive container ships. He’s even been able to hold up a continental plate before. He’s also very hard to hurt, able to withstand the pressure of the deepest ocean. Aquaman also carries the Trident of Poseidon, which gives him a variety of powerful magic abilities. Aquaman is also a very skilled hand to hand combatant, able to match even Wonder Woman as one of the best greatest fighters in the Justice League. Hulk and Aquaman would duke it out, with Aquaman actually able to hang with the Hulk. However, the Hulk would keep getting angrier and stronger. This would be a battle of attrition, as Hulk would be able to do enough damage long term to defeat Aquaman, but Aquaman wouldn’t be able to say the same. It would be a fight that the Hulk never forgot, but he would definitely come out with a win.
2) Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman does have a chance at beating the Hulk, but the probability of it happening is quite slim. Wonder Woman is the strongest of the Amazons, trained to be the best of the best. She’s a master of the sword, shield, spear, and cestus, and is an expert with her Lasso of Truth. Wonder Woman isn’t on Superman’s level when it comes to strength, but she’s close enough to be able to put up a good fight against Superman. She’s super fast, as well, able to keep up with the Flash at his cruising velocity of a few hundred miles per hour. Wonder Woman can seem old-fashioned, but she’s got it where it counts. Wonder Woman’s max strength level is greater than the Hulk’s base level, and she’s faster than him. Her power to fly gives her another advantage the Hulk doesn’t have. The Lasso of Truth gives has a chance to win โ she could possibly use the Lasso to joke the Hulk out โ but the Hulk isn’t known for standing still or giving his opponents the chance to catch him flat-footed. This will come down to a fist fight, and that’s a battle that Wonder Woman can’t win.
1) Batman

Once upon a time, Batman and the Hulk had a crossover, and Batman won the fight. He was able to knock the Hulk using knockout gas. This was a very long time ago and Hulk’s powers have become greater than ever; that sort of attack won’t work on the Hulk anymore. Now, Batman could probably figure out a way to beat the Hulk or use something like the Hellbat armor to win, but he’d never get that chance. Batman faces some dangerous villains, but he doesn’t have a chance against the Hulk without studying him for days and building a piece of machinery to do the job for him. However, that’s not something that is going to be able to happen in just a straight up fight. Batman would definitely give it his all in the fight โ Batman is a fighter โ but the Hulk is just too much for Batman.
