Batman Readies For the Final Showdown With Bane in Our Exclusive Batman #20 Preview From DC

DC has provided ComicBook.com with an exclusive preview of Batman #20, in stores next Wednesday.

The issue comes from writer Tom King with artists David Finch and Danny Miki. It features a cover by Finch and a variant cover by Tim Sale.

“I am Bane” finale! In this epic climax, there is no going back. No more tricks, no more allies. Just Batman. And Bane. When the final blood spills…nothing will ever be the same for the Dark Knight.

The issue, out Wednesday, is not only the conclusion to the “I Am Bane” storyline — arguably the culmination of almost a year’s worth of storytelling that began with the “I Am Gotham” arc — but also the lead-in to the next big Batman storyline: the series’ crossover with The Flash, titled “The Button.”

That story, which will run through April, will see Batman and The Flash working together to attempt to discover the significance of The Comedian’s smiley-face badge, which was dragged into the Batcave by Speed Force energy along with Wally West in DC Universe: Rebirth #1 last May.
