Elder Scrolls Online Trailer Explores Assassination and Politics in Morrowind

The Elder Scrolls Online is bringing players back to Morrowind on June 6, and to prepare you for the tangled web of political and hierarchical drama that awaits you there, Bethesda has released a brand new trailer. Titled "Assassins and the Great Houses," this trailer seeks to give you a peek at the multiple, long-established centers of power in Morrowind that will be pushing and pulling for control over the lands of Vvardenfell where you'll soon roam. Until now we've been looking forward to Morrowind to bring back happy memories. We've been looking forward to it fanning that old flame that burned inside of us when first stepped off the that boat to create our first character back in 2002. As it turns out, The Elder Scrolls Online's highly anticipated expansion has some rather dark loose ends hanging like nooses, and avoiding them doesn't seem to be an option; we'll have to cut them down with our blades.

Color us intrigued. We're ready to tackle whatever comes our way. This writer specifically feels uniquely prepared, since I always play through Elder Scrolls games as a thief and ranger type class. I tend to kick my boots up and drink at the taverns with the sneakiest and deadliest Tamriel inhabitants, so this dangerous line of work suits me well.
