Looking for a bit of Marvel Comics fun on your smartphone or tablet? Then you could do a lot worse than Marvel Future Fight, the Diablo-like action RPG that was released in 2015 and is still going strong today. Here’s the official description of Marvel Future Fight for those who haven’t been keeping up:
“The Avengers, Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange -- you can unite the greatest heroes from all corners of the Marvel Universe for the epic battle that will decide the fate of all realities in Marvel Future Fight! S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury has sent a dire call from the future: The multiple dimensions of the multiverse are collapsing upon each other – and it’s up to you to ensure humanity survives!
ASSEMBLE YOUR TEAM! Create your squad from Avengers like Hulk, Iron Man, and Captain America, as well as other famous Marvel heroes like Spider-Man and Daredevil! Upgrade your weapons and master your skills to give your team the ultimate power-up using a deep RPG leveling system.”
Marvel Future Fight has accumulated a lot of characters – over 100 if you include variants – but up until now, licensing intricacies meant there were no X-Men characters in the game. Well, that’s changed! Earlier this week, the Marvel Future Fight teased something X-related in a short video (check that out above), before revealing both Cyclops and Storm are joining the game’s extensive cast. Check out their character cards, below.
