Toei Animation and Eleven Art’s are undertaking a one of a kind event later this month when they premiere Digimon Adventure tri. – Chapter 1: Reunion in theaters.

As part of a one night Fathom screening event, Chapter 1: Reunion will be the first English-dubbed Digimon feature to be released stateside since 2000, and will screen at over 400 theaters on September 15th.
“We are pleased to partner for the first time with Toei Animation and again with Eleven Arts to debut the newest chapter in this highly beloved series to U.S. audiences,” said Fathom Events CEO John Rubey. “Fathom Events is proud to provide anime fans the very best in entertainment from Japan right at their local movie theater.”
Fans of the franchise will also get some bonus content thrown their way as a part of the screening, with an extended sneak peek at the English subtitled Chapter 3.
