Happy Birthday! Jeremy Renner Turns 46 Years Old Today

Happy birthday, Jeremy Renner! The actor is celebrating his 46th birthday today.

To our community, Renner is best known for playing Clint Barton (a.k.a. Hawkeye) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (Thor, The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War) and Agent Brant in Mission: Impossible film series (Ghost Protocol, Rogue Nation).

Renner has already earned two Academy Award nomination in his career. He received a Best Actor nomination for playing bomb-defuser Sgt. James in the 2008 Best Picture winner, The Hurt Locker, and a Best Supporting Actor nomination for playing Bostonian bank robber James "Jem" Coughlin in Ben Affleck's 2010 crime drama, The Town.

Renner also appeared in S.W.A.T., 28 Weeks Later, The Bourne Legacy, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, and American Hustle.

Renner was born and raised in Modesto, California, where he graduated from Fred C. Beyer High School and attended Modesto Junior College. While attending the latter, he studied computer science and criminology, but after taking a drama class as an elective, he caught the acting bug.
