Marvel 75th Anniversary Magazine Details Announced

Marvel Comics has revealed details about their upcoming 75th Anniversary Magazine. The magazine will take a look back at Marvel's storied history, spanning from 1939's Marvel Comics #1 through All-New Marvel NOW!

The magazine includes interview with legendary creators Stan Lee and Walt Simonson, as well as a feature story exploring the early days of the Marvel Universe. There's also a gallery featuring art from the All-New Young Guns and a new timeline of events, from the Kree-Skrull War to Original Sin.

"Over the last 75 years, Marvel Comics has spawned blockbuster movies, televisions shows, toys, video games and more," says Editor in Chief Axel Alonso. "We're extremely proud of the legacy that over seven decades of storytelling has brought us and we want to celebrate the milestone with our greatest supporters – the fans."

Alex Ross provides three variant covers for the magazine, each based on a different Marvel team: the Avengers, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four. The Marvel 75th Anniversary Magazine goes on sale in September.
