Marvel Comics surprised fans earlier today with its announcement of Old Man Hawkeye. The upcoming comic series will serve as a prequel series to Old Man Logan, and follow the adventures of an aging, blind Clint Barton.
The series, which will be written by NY Daily News alum Ethan Sacks and illustrated by Marco Checchetto (Star Wars: Captain Phasma), has been met with quite a response on social media. And it's safe to say that Marvel fans don't know exactly how to feel about the upcoming series.
Some are excited to return to Old Man Logan's distinct universe, while others are a little confused by the new idea. We've compiled some of the reactions we've seen to Marvel's Old Man Hawkeye series. Click through to the next slide to check them out.

Old Man Hawkeye... they really are milking that cow, aren’t they? A pre-blind Barton against a legion of Madroxes? Well, could be fun ? https://t.co/kCRdo9hHcN— Lodix (@lodix1) October 1, 2017
