Benedict Cumberbatch was this week's host of Saturday Night Live, the longrunning NBC comedy sketch show. As is tradition on the show, the Dr. Strange star delivered the show's opening monologue, which he used to acquaint viewers with who he "really" is.

Accompanied by SNL's female cast members, Cumberbatch soulfully sang about his many accomplishments, including his CBE (a British honor that's just a bit lower than a knighthood) and his legion of devoted fans.

At one point, Cumberbatch remarked that he's known for playing geniuses, including Sherlock Holmes, the evil genius Khan from Star Trek Into Darkness, and "gay computer genius" Alan Turing from The Imitation Game. He also mentioned the tons of fanfic written by his fans, some of which he referred to as "unsettling".

Leslie Jones hit on Cumberbatch throughout the entire monologue, at one point asking "Dr. Strange" to check her breasts for lumps. Kate McKinnon also appeared on stage in a bald cap playing Tilda Swinton's Ancient One.

Cumberbatch appeared on Saturday Night Live to promote his new movie Dr. Strange, which is well on its way to a strong opening weekend. Some of this week's other SNL sketches include Cumberbatch playing an exotic stripper and a game show titled "Why Is Benedict Cumberbatch Hot?"
