Kingsman: The Secret Service

The first images from Kingsman: The Secret Service, the film adaptation of Mark Millar, Matthew Vaughan and Dave Gibbons' comic book series, have been released online (via EW). The film follows a member of an organization of super spies who decides to train his nephew in the craft in order to keep him out of trouble. Kingsman: The Secret Service stars Colin Firth as Jack Unwin, Taron Egerton as Gary Unwin, Samuel L. Jackson as the villainous Dr. James Arnold, and Michael Caine. The film is directed and co-written by Vaughan, who previously directed the film adaptation of another Millar creation, Kick-Ass. "We missed all the spy movies we loved as kids, whether it was Bond or In Like Flint. They had a sense of humor as well as being a thriller," Vaughn says of The Secret Service." "With [Kingsman], we're subverting the spy movie genre as we know it." Kingsman: The Secret Service comes to theaters October 24.
