On Saturday, May 18 at 8 AM, Walmart Stores across the United States starting selling tickets for an advance screening of Man Of Steel, which will take place on Thursday, June 13 at 7 PM. Comicbook.com paid a visit to a couple different Walmart stores on Saturday to cover the event. While Walmart told us that the location of the ticket sales could vary by store, all of the stores that we visited were selling Man Of Steel tickets in the electronics area. In addition to selling Man Of Steel tickets, Walmart stores also set up huge displays filled with Man Of Steel merchandise. A Man Of Steel Official Movie Guide featuring photos and concept art seemed to be the most popular item among customers also buying tickets at the stores we visited. The Man Of Steel displays also featured t-shirts, posters, action figures, and other merchandise. Some Walmart stores also had tables set up which contained pamphlets and free Man Of Steel tattoos. Even though tickets went on sale yesterday morning, Walmart is continuing to sell tickets until they sell out. If you weren't able to get tickets on Saturday, it's probably worth checking your local Walmart to see if they still have tickets remaining. Each ticket comes with a special code on the back, which can be entered at www.vudu.com/manofsteel to access an exclusive digital comic and three Superman animated episodes. The exclusive Man Of Steel digital comic is actually a prequel to the movie, which actually establishes Supergirl and Hawkman's homeworld as part of the Man Of Steel universe.
