X-Men: Apocalypse Concept Art & Details On Cyclops, Storm, & Jean Grey

Concept art from X-Men: Apocalypse has been official released online.

The artwork for Bryan Singer’s next X-Men movie, which is now filming in Montreal, shows concept art for the X-Jet, Archangel, Cerebro, and Apocalypse’s lair.

“It’s a big monster of a movie,” Singer tells Empire Magazine. “The stakes are so high and global and the villain is so mythic. It’s definitely an X-Men movie, but it really feels different.” 

Singer also shared some details on what fans can expect from the younger versions of key X-Men characters like Cyclops (Tye Sheridan), Jean Grey (Sophie Turner), and Storm (Alexandra Shipp).

“They’re as much a part of the movie as our main cast,” says Kinberg. “Scott is not yet the squeaky-clean leader. Storm is a troubled character who is going down the wrong path in life. And Jean is complex, interesting and not fully mature. It’s fun to see someone struggling with their powers when you know one day they’ll become the most powerful person in the world.”

X-Men: Apocalypse opens May 27, 2016.
