During an appearance on The Tonight Show, Anthony Mackie confirmed that he will be reprising his role as The Falcon, Sam Wilson, in Captain America: Civil War.

"I'm back!" said Mackie. "You can't get rid of me that easily. If I got one wing, I'm coming back."

This seems to indicate that nearly the entire supporting cast from Captain America: The Winter Soldier will be returning for Captain America: Civil War, since directors Anthony and Joe Russo recently confirmed the return of Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow.

Mackie went on to share stories of a boy showing up on his doorstep on Halloween, dressed as his Falcon from Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and another about how he signed some posters at a Michaels craft store and the manager didn't appreciate it as much as Mackie expected he would.
