Arrow's Emily Bett Rickards On the Threat of Damien Darhk

During a conversation with reporters in Vancouver earlier tonight, Arrow star Stephen Amell revealed that Damien Darhk will run afoul of Ray Palmer as the season unfolds. Meanwhile, he's already up against the Green Arrow and will soon take issue with Oliver Queen, who will soon officially declare his candidacy for mayor of Star City.

What does Emily Bett Rickards, who plays Green Arrow's crimefighting partner and Oliver Queen's love interest on the series, think about the villain, and the way he appears to be going after Team Arrow from all angles? Well, she doesn't seem to take it too personally.

"I think Damien has it out for everyone, to be honest. I think he's like 'Well, this is going to be my town and I'm just going to kill anyone in my way,'" Rickards told ComicBook.com during a visit to the Arrow set tonight. "But having him be such present villain — grandiose, I think — he just takes up so much space and he has so much power, that there's no way he wouldn't intersect with Star City's finest."
