Batman '66 Images, More Details Released by DC Comics

High-resolution copies of six images, previously seen only as tiny images on phototgraphs from Thursday's Batman: Classic TV Series event in Los Angeles, have been made available by DC Comics, who also shared some new details about what fans can expect from the upcoming Batman '66 comic book series. In addition to the newly-released images, DC has revealed that the first villain in the series will be The Riddler, an interesting decision given the fact that by July, Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo will be smack-dab in the middle of their eleven-part Batman: The Zero Year. That's a story that so far is shrouded in a lot of mystery but which most fans are speculating will feature The Riddler as its central antagonist based on comments made by Snyder in the past on Twitter. So Batman '66 gets action figures, clothing and other merchandise--even a San Diego Comic Con International exclusive Batusi TV toy...and it even has a tangential tie into the best-selling Batman monthly? Holy corporate synergy, Batman!
