Warner Bros. has released a trailer for the upcoming Batman: The Complete Television Series home entertainment release, confirming the November 2014 release date originally reported by ComicBook.com.

Further details about the release will be revealed at a Comic-Con International panel being held on Thursday, July 24 at 6 p.m. in Hall H. The panel will feature Batman '66 stars Adam West (Batman), Burt Ward (Robin) and Julie Newmar (Catwoman).

The actors will provide a sneak peek at the exclusive special features and digitally remastered HD footage from the release, as well as the limited edition packaging.

The classic Batman television series that aired from 1966 until 1968 influenced an entire generation of Batman fans. The series was full of camp and heavily influenced by the pop artist of the era, including Andy Warhol.

Though it was shunned for some time - following the return to Batman's darker roots in Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns and Tim Burton's 1989 Batman film – the series has maintained a dedicated fanbase, and even seen a resurgence in popularity in recent years, as evidenced by the Jeff Parker's Batman '66 digital-first comic book series and an upswing in related merchandise, including Pop Vinyl figures, a HeroClix set, and more.

Fans have been asking for a home media release of the series for some time. While the Batman film based on the television series has previously seen multiple home entertainment releases, November will be the first time the series itself has received such treatment. Hopefully the HD remastering and special features will make the wait worthwhile.
