Disney's new live-action Cinderella film is charming audiences of all ages. Kenneth Branagh's fairy tale film is expected to pull in $70.1M after this weekend is complete. This will be the best opening weekend for a Kenneth Branagh-directed film, besting 2011's Thor ($65.7M). Cinderella helped lift the overall box office with a total of $131M, which is 15% better than the same period last year.

Liam Neeson has a very particular set of skills, skills he has acquired over a very long acting career. If you're looking for his next box office hit, Run All Night isn't it. Seems like audiences have had their fill of Neeson as an action star as Run All Night is the third one from Neeson in the past year. It'll finish in second place this weekend with $11M, but that is well below Warner Bros. already low expectation of $15M. Its 'A-' CinemaScore still gives it hope that good word-of-mouth might give it a strong second week.
