Constantine: Three More Cast Members Added To Pilot

is reporting that three more roles have been cast for NBC's upcoming Constantine television pilot. Lucy Griffiths, who played Nora Gainesborough on True Blood, has been cast as the show's female lead, Liv. Liv is a strange girl and the daughter of one of John Constantine's (Matt Ryan) late friends. When she becomes the target of some demons, Constantine has to step in to defend her. Liv discovers that she has the strange ability to see the supernatural elements of the world, making her a target for forces on both sides of the battle between good and evil. Also cast were Harold Perrineau, who played Michael Dawson on Lost, as Manny, an angel sent to keep an eye on Constantine, and Charles Halford, who most recently played Reggie Ledoux on True Detective, as Chas, Constantine's oldest friend who also happens to possess some powerful, perhaps supernatural, survival skills. The pilot for Constantine is expected to air in the Fall of 2014.
