Fear The Walking Dead Adds Chuck's Mercedes Mason

Fear the Walking Dead has added Mercedes Mason (Chuck, The Finder) to the cast as a series regular.

Mason's role remains undisclosed, but her character will likely not appear until at least the second episode of the series, since the pilot has already been shot.

Mason joins a cast that already includes Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens, and Frank Dillane.

Fear the Walking Dead, a companion series to AMC's flagship zombie drama, will be set in Los Angeles and begin its story earlier in the apocalypse than The Walking Dead did.

Fear the Walking Dead will debut this summer, and has already been renewed for a second season in 2016.
