Fear The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 1: Monster

Tonight marks the season two premiere of AMC's Fear the Walking Dead.

Last year, AMC introduced Fear the Walking Dead as a companion series to The Walking Dead. The characters and locations do not overlap but the rules and mythology are identical.

Rather than follow hardened police officers and folks who are ready to fight for their lives like The Walking Dead has from the beginning, Fear follows a blended family of teachers and students dealing with familial issues when we first find them. As the world began to follow apart, their issues came to a boil, but it ultimately lead them to work together in an escape from Los Angeles.

To cap the first season, our survivors: Travis, Madison, Nick, Alicia, Chris, Ophelia, and Daniel found themselves heading to new ally Strand's home to set sail off of the west coast.

When we find them in the season premiere tonight, they'll be doing just that. While they think heading out to sea and escaping the trouble on land will solve their problems, they'll find out that threats are all around no matter where they go.

Fear the Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 PM ET on AMC.
