J.K. Rowling, Pottermore, and Apple released new enhanced editions of the Harry Potter novels into the Apple iBooks store. The new digital editions feature full original text, interactive animations and elaborate artwork, as well as annotations written by Rowling.
"I'm thrilled to see the Harry Potter books so beautifully realized on iBooks for the digital world; the artwork and animations in these enhanced editions bring the stories alive in a delightful new way," said J.K. Rowling in a press release.

The Apple iBooks release is the first time the enhanced digital editions of the Harry Potter novels have been made available outside of the Pottermore store.
The iBooks Store is available in 52 countries and offers dozens of categories including cookbooks, history books, biographies, picture books and children's books, with free books available in 155 countries.
The Harry Potter Enhanced Editions are available in English for $9.99 each.
