During a Q&A session hosted on the Arrow Facebook page earlier tonight, series star Stephen Amell answered dozens of fan questions. One of them was about tonight's non-episode, and the feeling that long breaks like the ones Arrow and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. recently had are partially to blame for viewer frustration, attrition and the season-low ratings that both shows hit last week. Many fans, aside from just being fans and wanting to see more, reason that the idea of breaks for The Olympics or other seemingly-arbitrary scheduling reasons don't make as much sense these days as they used to prior to the ascendance of cable and the Internet. And, apparently, Amell doesn't entirely disagree. "I have no idea why we take breaks," he admitted. "I actually think in 2014 that it's completely silly to stomp on the momentum you garner by airing in consecutive weeks and beyond. But these are decisions way beyond me."
