Norman Reedus Battling Stephen Amell On Social Media

What happens when two guys best known for shooting arrows get in a battle on social media? Well, as of now, it appears like the guy with the crossbow wins. As Comicbook.com reported earlier today, Zap2It came up with an interesting idea for a poll. They created brackets and are pitting celebrities against one another to determine who is the king or queen of social media. One of the brackets involved pairing Arrow's Stephen Amell against The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus. Stephen Amell appeared to be the first to rally his large social media fan base to vote. On Facebook, Amell wrote, "Facebook! I've met Norman Reedus. I like Norman Reedus... But if you think I'm going down to someone who uses a crossbow, you've got another thing coming. Let's take this to the next level." Amell's social media following helped him to jump out to a large initial lead over Norman Reedus. However, Reedus caught wind of the poll and began tweeting to his own social media following. Reedus tweeted a link to the poll along with the text, "Help me beat this guy from lost!!" Of course, Amell is from Arrow, so either Reedus was making a joke or considers defeating Amell a done deal and was possibly looking ahead to facing Ian Somerhalder in the next round. Amell noticed Reedus' tweet, responding, "That's Ian. I'm the guy who's better with a bow and arrow. RT @wwwbigbaldhead: Help me beat this guy from lost !!" Amell also added, "It feels good to be involved in a fake feud with an actor I respect and admire. I might need to start a real one with an actor I dislike." Reedus' work appears to be paying off as he has rallied back to take a commanding lead in the poll. At the time of this article, Reedus was leading Amell by a margin of more than two to one.
