On its way to the much-teased Smallville Season Eleven: Crisis miniseries, Bryan Q. Miller's digital-first comic taking place following the events of the hit CW series will take a cue from DC's WildStorm universe with Smallville Season Eleven: Chaos, a miniseries that launches tomorrow and will see print starting in August.

Whether we'll see WildStorm in the book yet or not isn't known, but according to a new interview with writer Bryan Q. Miller, the story will take Superman through The Bleed, a dimension used by StormWatch to travel between dimensions and alternate earths/timelines. It isn't the first time it's appeared in Smallville, but certainly it sounds as though this is the largest it's ever loomed in a story.

The Bleed is currently appearing in The New 52: Futures End, which is widely expected to lead to a Crisis-level event featuring the Anti-Monitor and Darkseid in DC's main publishing line.

The Chaos story will also feature the Eclipso gem, as well as a story that sees Ted Kord and Lex Luthor working together in the business sector. On Smallville, Kord was never the Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes was the first we saw), although he was tied to both that character's first appearance and that of Booster Gold in the Season Ten episode "Booster."

An interview with Miller at CBR seemingly suggests that a Season Twelve could be the next question faced after Crisis.
