Now that Peter Parker is set to once again don the webs as The Amazing Spider-Man, Brian Michael Bendis announced today via Tumblr that a sequel to his best-selling 2012 miniseries Spider-Men, which teamed Parker up with Ultimate Spider-Man star Miles Morales, has been greenlit at Marvel Comics. No additional details were forthcoming regarding the release date, artist (Sara Pichelli, who drew the first miniseries, is likely but obviously not guaranteed, particularly given how much more in-demand she is these days) or content, although the fan who asked about it on Tumblr brought up the obvious one... "So are we going to see a sequel to Spider-Men soon?" asked user theholygeeekdom. "Would love to know what happened to Miles in Peter's universe!" Spider-Men ended with Peter looking up Miles Morales online to see whether the young hero had a corollary in the main Marvel Universe. His look of surprise made everyone reading wonder what it was he'd found...but the question wasn't answered and hasn't been picked up in the pages of the ongoing Spider-Man comic books since.
