The Walt Disney Company have released the image above, indicating the first day of principal photography on Star Wars Episode VII. The production has been reportedly very close to beginning principal photography for some time now, with some prep shooting done as early as last month  and reports of things like AT-AT legs seen being taken into and out of sets in the U.K. The photo was released via production company  Bad Robot's Twitter account with the hashtag #DayOne. It's dated May 16th, 2014, and features the names of director JJ Abrams and Cinematographer Daniel Mindel.
