In a new video released ahead of tonight's second season premiere, The Flash executive producer Gabrielle Stanton talks about the status quo and where our cast will lie at the start of the season.
"It's been six months since the Singularity. I'm on my own now, decided it's better that way. it keeps the people I care about safe," says the opening monologue by Barry Allen (Grant Gustin). Stanton then confirms that it will be six months since the season 1 finale.
"Barry's been pushing people away a little bit; the team isn't really functioning the way it did. A lot of 201 is seeing how the team gets back together again," Stanton said.
Also in the clip is a shot of Atom Smasher getting named - but not by Cisco this time around. Check it out above for the full preview.
The Flash season 2 premiers at 8/7c Tuesday night on The CW.
