20th Century Fox has announced that the second trailer for The Wolverine will be released online at 6 AM PST on Tuesday, May 21, 2013. The Wolverine trailer #2 will also play in movie theaters in front of showings of Fast & Furious 6, which is scheduled to be released on Friday, May 24. In addition to announcing the new trailer, 20th Century Fox also released two brand new character posters for The Wolverine. The posters are done in the Japanese paintbrush design style, which was also used on past posters featuring Logan and Silver Samuarai. The new character posters feature Yukio and Viper. Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before. The Wolverine is scheduled to be released in movie theaters in the United States on July 26, 2013.
