The Pokemon Company has released the fifth and sixth episodes of Pokemon Generations, the new series of anime shorts showcasing events from the Pokemon series of games.

The fifth episode, titled "The Legacy", shows a meeting between the international cop Looker and Silver, Giovanni's son and the rival character in Pokemon Silver and Gold. We also see a glimpse of Team Rocket's attack on the Goldenrod City Radio Tower, which was thrwarted by the player character in the game.

The sixth episode is called "The Reawakening" and focuses on Johto's Legendary Beasts. We see Eucine, a character introduced in Pokemon Crystal, during his visit to Johto's Burned Tower in search of Suicune, one of the Legendary Beasts.

Both episodes are less than five minutes long and contain much less action than previous episodes. It appears that Looker will be a recurring character through Pokemon Generations, as this is the second episode to feature the police detective and his search for Giovanni.

Pokemon Generations is part of Pokemon's 20th anniversary celebration and exists in a seperate anime universe from the traditional Pokemon television show. The shorts are deliberately closer in feel to the actual Pokemon games, with less liberties taken with Pokemon battles and locations within the series. According to the Pokemon Company, each episode of Pokemon Generations will feature hidden moments that tie into the plots of various Pokemon games.
