Harry Potter And Fantastic Beast's World Now On Google Maps

Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them would be a very different type of movie if the wizards had conveniences like Google. While Newt isn't afforded such luxuries, it doesn't mean ou can't use them to explore a bit more of his world.

Google has joined up with Fantastic Beasts on a multitude of platforms, including Google Maps. Clicking here will pull up distinct locations from the universe and explore them in street view. The first is the Magical Congress of the USA, located at the Steen National Bank, but if you want something a bit less formal, you can head over to The Blind Pig, the underground bar of choice for wizards. You can also explore the apartment of Tina and Queenie Goldstein to get a better sense of who those characters are.

You don't have to just limit your wizarding to maps either, as if you simply speak "Okay Google" into your android phone, you'll have several options. Saying "Silencio" will mute your phone, while "Lumos" will activate the phone's flashlight. To turn it off, simply say "Nox".

If you've already preordered the Google Daydream, you'll have a Fantastic Beasts experience right out of the box. Here you'll be able to explore Newt's magical case with a wand in hand for a surreal and magical experience.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is an all-new adventure returning us to the wizarding world created by J.K. Rowling. Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything) stars in the central role of wizarding world magizoologist Newt Scamander, under the direction of David Yates, who helmed the last four Harry Potter blockbusters. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident...were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them brings the world of magic to theaters on November 18.
