On Monday Night Raw in Hartford, Goldberg took down Rusev even though he was still trying to shake off the ring rust. The Bulgarian Brute recently took to Twitter to explain what went down on Monday Night Raw.

Rusev tweeted: "Ha! @Goldberg knows that SPEARS don't faze me! That JACKHAMMER though...hats off to him. He still got it. Btw I can still crush him."

The segment was supposed to show that Goldberg still has it and is still the star he once was in the ring, and he was able to do that...kind of.

While the fans were going nuts for Goldberg, Rusev actually came out of the event looking like a total chump after getting Jackhammered in just a few seconds.

Rusev may claim that a Goldberg "spear" doesn't faze him. However, he landed a punch directly on Goldberg's face and it didn't even seem to faze the 49-year-old wrestler in the slightest.

The past few weeks have been brutal for the Bulgarian Brute. Recently at the WWE's Hell in a Cell, he got absolutely owned by the Big Dog Roman Reigns.

Goldberg may have dropped Rusev and Heyman at Monday Night Raw, but he does not seem so confident in his upcoming match against Brock Lesnar.

During a conversation with Booker T on his podcast Heated Conversation, the 49-year-old wrestler said: "I haven't been in the ring yet. That's the one thing after those 12 years that is probably the most important to reacquaint yourself with, but I'm going in for one match. I'm not going to get into the ring for 20 days straight to reacclimate myself with hitting the ropes, because, hopefully, the only thing that will be hitting is my fist hitting Brock's face and him hitting the mat, so the reality is I'm going to be taken to Suplex City. I'm going to take some suplexes in this thing. Yeah, but it is what it is. It ain't like I didn't play in the NFL, dude. I may be old, but I know what I'm getting myself into."
