Fans who have been to Disney Parks have likely taken the chance to immerse themselves in the Star Wars galaxy by riding on Star Tours: The Adventure Continues, but what could make that experience better?
What if Luke Skywalker himself sat next to you for a ride through Tatooine and Naboo? Because a few lucky fans got to experience just that. Check out the video above!
Mark Hamill surprised Disneyland guests recently with an appearance before the ride began, thanking them for their support.
"Do we have any Star Wars fans here today?" asked Hamill, receiving applause and cheers in response. "I'm so happy to be here in Disneyland with you today. The first time I came here I was a little kid and I used to daydream about someday working at Disneyland. So thank you for making my dream come true."
He then sat down in the front row and took a selfie with all of the riders, most of whom had their phones out to capture the experience. With buckled seat belts and 3D glasses in hand, Hamill turned behind him to address the group one last time.
"I almost forgot! May the Force be with you."
Everyone in their seats looked pretty shocked at Hamill's appearance, as you can see in the video below.
Actually, that one guy seemed like he didn't know what was going on, but maybe that's just the shock of meeting a Jedi Master setting in.
Star Tours: The Adventure Continues is the new version of the classic ride, offering guests multiple different possibilities of destinations to visit in the galaxy far, far away. With locations from the original, prequel, and sequel trilogy, Disney just announced they're going to be sectioning the possible tracks based on timeline and will add even more locations based on Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi premieres in theaters December 15.
