Rogue One Director and Producers Will Judge Star Wars Fan Films 2016

In a video announcement tweeted out on the Star Wars official account, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story director Gareth Edwards and co-producer John Schwartz revealed that they'll be judging the Star Wars Fan Film Awards for 2016. The pair will be joined by executive producer and "visual effects legend" John Knoll.

"It's a dream come true to make a Star Wars film," Edwards said, "but you have that power, too," he continued, referencing Luke Skywalker's famous line about the Force.

Submissions go through April 24, 2016, and they "can't wait to see what you come up with, and also share our little fan film with you later this year," Edwards said with a smile. Head to StarWars.com to submit your film, and May the Force Be With You.
