A new featurette from the bonus features of The Walking Dead season 6 blu-ray collection has been released online. It is centered around season 6's most menacing walkers.

Season 6 featured more walkers than any preceding season. As Rick and Morgan stumbled upon a quarry filled with undead, the season was loaded with massive amounts of walkers, some of which were extremely unique.

In the new bonus feature, Greg Nicotero describes a few of the unique and menacing walkers our beloved survivors encountered, including, "tight squeeze walker," "Wrightson walkers," and "sewer walkers."

The tight squeeze walker was made to have its skin rip off as it worked its way through two trucks. The Wrightson walker was themed after the style of "fantasy illustrator comic book artist extraordinaire," Bernie Wrightson. The sewer walkers, which were Maggie actress Lauren Cohan's favorite part of the season, were made to look weakened and soggy as they spent so much time decomposing underground.

The Walking Dead will return for its seventh season in October. The season six blu-ray will be available on August 23.
