The actor first shared a photo of himself on the magazine’s cover over the weekend, rocking a stylish suit and new hairstyle. “Shoutout to 26 Magazine for making me look like I’m floating on the cover of their newest issue,” Riggs wrote.

Then, the young Walking Dead star took the comments on the cover a bit further, having a little bit of fun with it. “I kinda look like emo Peter Parker from Spider-Man 3 in some of them,” Riggs wrote.
Not only did Riggs make a verbal comparison, he nabbed a photo of Toby Maguire in Spider-Man 3 in the scene fans wish they could forget for a visual aid. Check it out below.

Of course, the new hair style prompts speculation among fans of The Walking Dead regarding Carl’s fate. In the series where “no one is safe,” Carl’s future is deemed uncertain by such a change in Riggs’ appearance for many. Fear not, however. In other photos showing Riggs’ profile, the actor’s hair is pulled back and still completely in tact.
At a recent appearance at Walker Stalker Con, likely taking place after the cover shoot, Riggs was rocking his Carl Grimes hair. He has even gone as far as debunking death speculation by comparing it to similar sentiments expressed in earlier seasons of the AMC series.
Ironically enough out of all of this, is the fact that Riggs almost played Spider-Man, once upon a time. The role would go to Tom Holland, in the end.
