There is a ton to be excited about when it comes to the third season of Daredevil: Born Again. It’s already been shaping up to be a wild ride, especially with the news that Elodie Yung is returning as Elektra Natchios, which marks the character’s first appearance in the revival series after she hadn’t appeared in the first two seasons. And now, fans have even more to talk about: We officially have a new glimpse at Charlie Cox in Daredevil’s new suit. Fans are, as always, divided on whether they like what they see, with some wishing for a more comic-accurate vibe and others finding that the suit actually brings a new level of badass to the masked hero.

The differences between this suit and the one he wore in Season 2 are pretty minimal, but some fans still think that it looks great, and the fact that it’s obviously the original suit with some slight alterations makes sense, considering that Matt has only just gotten out of prison. “I don’t give a single sh*t about comic accuracy. This looks f*cking awesome. Not just the color composition, but they made it less armored,” said one fan on X. Others, however, aren’t buying it.
Should Daredevil Be Rocking a More Comic-Accurate Suit?
The most vocal fans say yes, and they’re demanding the fully red suit that’s become synonymous with Daredevil. One fan said, “I’m assuming it’s gonna lead towards the full suit becoming fully red at some point, I do hope the suit becomes less armored like & more cloth-like if that makes sense, remove all the black lines & just have the entire suit be fully red.”
Comic-accurate suit or not, the third season of Born Again really is shaping up to be something special, especially with the announcement per ScreenRant that it will be featuring a time jump of about a year. Between that, the news that both Elektra and Fisk (with a beard) are back, Lady Muse as the antagonist, and the new look for Matt, it really is setting itself up to be the most intense season of the revival yet. “I’m looking forward to seeing a broken Kingpin that has no power. Seeing him outside of New York for the first time was an excellent idea of an actual prison for him. Each time he went to jail, he only kept his power, and now he has nothing,” said one fan, easily summing up the general feelings about the news that Fisk is returning.
