Virgin River fans still have some time to wait before the Alexandra Breckenridge-led series returns for Season 7, but Netflix just added a hit drama to help hold subscribers over. The streamer’s adaptation of Robyn Carr’s novels has been a massive hit ever since its debut in 2019, even helping make other TV dramas that have joined Netflix, like Sullivan’s Crossing, become streaming hits. As Netflix started adding new titles to its library for October 2025, the streamer stocked two seasons of a drama TV show that fans of Virgin River won’t want to miss.

The series in question is The Way Home, Hallmark’s fantasy time travel show that centers around three generations of women in the small farm town of Port Haven as they reunite and face their family’s complex past and embark on a journey to find their way back to each other. Created by Heather Conkie, Alexandra Clarke, and Marly Reed, the series premiered in January 2023 and has run for three seasons, with a fourth on the way. Netflix subscribers can now stream The Way Home Seasons 1 and 2 after they joined the platform on October 1st, with Seasons 3 and 4 set to begin streaming on Netflix next year.
