Guardians of the Galaxy and Spectre star, Dave Bautista, has posted a new photo that strongly hints that he has landed a role in the upcoming Blade Runner sequel.

The image features Bautista holding a silver, paper unicorn, and the caption reads, "I can't wait to share some really exciting news..."

In Ridley Scott's 1982 cult-classic, Gaff (Edward James Olmos) taunts Deckard (Harrison Ford) with origami figures, such as a chicken, a man with an erection, and a unicorn. The unicorn appears at the very end of the film as Deckard and Rachael (Sean Young) run away together. But before they leave, Deckard spots an origami unicorn on the floor and picks it up. While he examines it, he hears the last words spoken in film. "It's too bad she won't live," Gaff says from afar. "But then again, who does?"

Much has been written about what the unicorn may or may not symbolize. I'll let you guys and gals argue over that in the comment section below.

Blade Runner 2 is being directed by Denis Villeneuve (Prisoners), based on a script by Hampton Fancher, who co-wrote the first film, and Michael Green. The cast includes Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling, and Robin Wright.
