Kevin Smith Says Geoff Johns Confirmed Working On Batman Movie Script With Ben Affleck

While some will say Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice didn't live up to the hype, most gave the nod to Ben Affleck's excellent job with the role of Batman.

That's why fans were excited to hear that Affleck, whose previous work includes The Town, Argo, and Gone Girl, was writing the script for his stand-alone Batman film. Better yet, he was doing it alongside writer extraordinaire Geoff Johns.

Kevin Smith confirmed this in his latest Fat man on Batman podcast (alongside co-host Marc Bernadin).

"He's been working on a solo script with Geoff Johns as well. Last conversation I had with Geoff Johns I was like are you working on it? and he said yeah. I said what's it like man, how do you co-write with someone? and he's going we just break it up, he takes halves and I take halves and then we write, and then we switch material, and then he goes over mine and I go over his. That sounds so f****** fun man."

I was already keen on Affleck penning a script, but add in Johns and my expectations rise even higher. Hopefully, we'll get a peek into what they have planned sooner rather than later.
