FOX's long-running X-Men franchise received its sixth installment earlier this year in X-Men: Apocalypse.

For those who haven't yet seen the film, or just want to relive part of the experience, you now can thanks to YouTube user Dylan Wolverine, who uploaded the noncensored opening credits from the film.

The credits act as an intuitive way to show just how long Apocalypse has been operating behind the scenes, with glimpses of ancient civilizations and societies. You can view the sequence in the video above.

While it wasn't as well received as the previous entry, X-Men: Days of Future Past, X-Men: Apocalypse still went on to claim $542,861,690 at the box office. Compared to it's $178 million dollar budget, that's not a bad total, but you still have to factor in the heavy marketing campaign.

Fans will be able to view the film again in its entirety when X-Men: Apocalypse releases on Blu-ray and DVD on October 4th. The film will be available on Digital HD on September 9th. Extra features include deleted and extended scenes with introductions from director Bryan Singer, a gag reel, a wrap party video, and additional commentary from Singer and Simon Kinberg. Be sure to also check out some alternate looks for Apocalypse here.

Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel's X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

The cast features James McAvoy as Charles Xavier, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Olivia Munn as Psylocke, Lucas Till as Havok, Evan Peters as Quicksilver, Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler, Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Josh Helman as William Stryker, Lana Condor as Jubilee, and Ben Hardy as Angel.
