We're not quite sure if we believe him but Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman is teasing a happy ending to The Walking Dead Season 4. We know that Season 4 will kick off with the group divided, and the Mid-Season Premiere will follow Rick Grimes and his son Carl Grimes out on their own. However, despite this initial bleakness, there are happier times ahead according to a new report in TV Guide. Kirkman said, "We started the season pretty hopeful and pretty optimistic. We'll open our last half of the season pretty bleak and we'll move them to something a little more hopeful by the end." So what does Kirkman mean by a hopeful ending? Based on Kirkman's comments and what's been revealed about Season 4 so far, it's likely that Rick's group eventually reunites by season end and finds a new place to live. Every scene on The Walking Dead has a purpose, and it shouldn't be forgotten that when Daryl and his group were on the road to find medical supplies, they heard a voice on the radio talking about sanctuary. What is sanctuary? Many are interpreting that it will be the Alexandria Safe-Zone from the comic books. The Alexandria Safe-Zone is a few blocks of cleared streets in Alexandria, Virginia. The Walking Dead Season 4 Mid-Season Premiere is set to air on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 9 PM ET on AMC.
